Diane “Moanikeala” Faulkner – Kumu

Diane “Moanikeala” Faulkner founded Aloha ‘O’ Hawaii in 1981. Since its inception, several generations of dancers have been under her tutelage. Diane has been dancing since she was 8 years old and started the Halau at the age of 21. She has received the blessing to teach as a Kumu Hula (master teacher in the art of Hula) from her first Kumu Lehua Mallory and increased her knowledge of hula history and culture with Kumu Hula Keali’i Chang.
